Tarsus University achieved another proud success at the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival held in Istanbul.
Muhammed Şehmus Uruç, a student in the Mechatronics Department at the Mersin Tarsus OSB Technical Sciences Vocational School, came second in Turkey in the ‘Machine Manufacturing and Automotive’ category with his project entitled ‘Remote Control of Electronic Equipment in Cars’, developed in collaboration with his advisor, Dr Abdulcelil Yüzer.
The team, which competed in the final under the name ‘Remote Garage,’ received their award from Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy President of the Republic, and Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the TEKNOFEST Board of Directors, following their achievement in the TÜBİTAK 2242 University Students Research Project Competition.
