The Presidency of Communications of the Republic of Turkey organized the 2nd Communications Council in Ankara under the theme “Turkey’s Century: The Century of Communication.” Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tuğba Yolcu attended the Council, where President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Head of the Presidential Communications Directorate, Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Duran, delivered opening remarks, representing Tarsus University.
During the two-day program, current issues in the field of communication were discussed from a broad perspective—ranging from Turkey’s strategic communication vision to public diplomacy, from digital communication to disaster and crisis communication, from combating disinformation to producing accurate news, and from communication law to digital platforms.
