Project Title: Integration of Hemodynamic Biomarkers in Coronary Lesions: FSI-Based, Patient-Specific Modeling and Its Relationship to Clinical Risk
Project Leader: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğra Sarper
Faculty of Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering
Project Duration: 24 months
The project aims to combine advanced imaging and simulation methods used in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease to enable earlier and more accurate identification of cardiovascular risks through patient-specific modeling. By integrating fluid-structure interaction simulations with clinical physiology, this approach aims to ensure that the findings contribute to clinical decision-making processes and personalized treatment approaches.
