Postpartum hemorrhage is one of the leading causes of preventable maternal deaths, and its effective management is directly related to midwives’ knowledge, decision-making, and clinical intervention competencies. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of a gamification-based instructional intervention—to be developed specifically for this research as part of a doctoral dissertation—on midwifery students’ knowledge levels regarding postpartum hemorrhage management and the retention of that knowledge.
