A “İŞKUR Campus” cooperation protocol was signed between Tarsus University and the Mersin Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) with the aim of supporting university students’ career development, helping them prepare for their career journeys, and facilitating their access to İŞKUR services. The protocol was signed by Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen and Mersin Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Deputy Director Dr. Ercan Gön.
Under the signed protocol, the İŞKUR Campus to be established at Tarsus University will provide students with information and counseling services on topics such as the labor market, working life, job search skills, interview and communication techniques with employers, and resume preparation. Through initiatives led by employment and career counselors at İŞKUR, students will be able to create and update their İŞKUR registrations, benefit from individual and group employment and career counseling services, participate in job-search skills training, attend seminars, and take part in Job Club workshops.
