Tarsus Üniversitesi’nin temelleri 1992 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulan Tarsus Meslek Yüksekokulu ile atılmıştır. 2001 yılında Tarsus Teknik Eğitim Fakültesi, 2005 yılında Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu kurulmasıyla eğitim faaliyetlerini genişletmiştir.Bugün itibari ile 4 fakülte, 1 enstitü, 1 yüksekokul ve 2 meslek yüksekokulu ile faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.

Career and Alumni Office Came Together with High School Students

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol in education signed between our university and Tarsus District Directorate of National Education, career days meetings organized in high schools ended after intensive programs in the 2024 semester. Career and Graduate Office officials and students of our university attended the events organized in schools affiliated to Tarsus District Directorate of National Education.

 

Career and Graduate Office officials who came together with the students of Şehit Vedat Yılmaz Anatolian High School, Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Technical and Industrial Vocational High School, International Ashabı Kehf Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, Barbaros Hayrettin Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, Cumhuriyet Anatolian High School, Fatih Anatolian High School; coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Emine Atalay, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatma Zehra Yıldız, Res. Asst. Dr. Emin Demir, Lecturer Sefa Kaya held interviews on career planning. Students of our university; Suzan Atmaca (Computer Engineering), Rukiye Başol (Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation), Buse Koç (International Trade and Logistics), İkra Rumeysa Aksu (Industrial Engineering), Esmanur Baysal (Aerospace Engineering), Efekan Oruç (Management Information Systems), Pınar Başlı (Midwifery), Zeynep Nisa Şirin (International Trade and Logistics), Mert Aksu (Management Information Systems), Fatma Sevim Ateş (Political Science and Public Administration) and Ahmet Feti Yıldırım (Aerospace Engineering) took part in the events on education and career development.
