The invention titled “Battery Thermal Management System with Liquid Cooling and Cooling Plate” developed by the team including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğra Sarper, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was awarded a patent as a result of the evaluation made by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buğra Sarper, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tarsus University, has developed an innovative battery thermal management system in the field of thermal management systems of electric vehicles. This system optimizes the thermal management of battery packs more efficiently, extending battery life and increasing the range capacity of vehicles. The product developed in the study was patented and registered as an advanced technology product that can offer high added value to Turkey in the electric vehicles sector.
