A comprehensive protocol has been signed between Tarsus University and Favori Çukurova Airport Management Inc., the operator of Çukurova Airport, to strengthen academic and industrial cooperation in the field of aviation management.
Signed by the Rector of Tarsus University and officials from Favori Çukurova Airport Management Inc., the protocol aims to enhance the professional development of students at the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences and to cultivate qualified human resources for the sector.
Under the protocol entitled ‘Agreement on Cooperation in Vocational Training, Technical Visits and Academic Activities’, it is envisaged that the university-industry cooperation will be strengthened by providing Tarsus University Aviation Management Department undergraduate students with the opportunity to take their vocational training (VET) courses at the airport.
The protocol also aims to support academic activities such as enabling department faculty members to conduct scientific research related to the sector within the airport operation with the approval of the company and contributing to the consolidation of students' theoretical knowledge by having expert personnel from the company participate in the courses.
