Tarsus Üniversitesi’nin temelleri 1992 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulan Tarsus Meslek Yüksekokulu ile atılmıştır. 2001 yılında Tarsus Teknik Eğitim Fakültesi, 2005 yılında Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu kurulmasıyla eğitim faaliyetlerini genişletmiştir.Bugün itibari ile 4 fakülte, 1 enstitü, 1 yüksekokul ve 2 meslek yüksekokulu ile faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.

Tarsus University Hosted the 4th International Trade and Logistics Career Fair

Our university hosted the ‘4th Trade and Logistics Career Meeting: Career Journey from the Perspective of the Industry and Alumni’ event, which aims to guide students on their career journey by bringing together industry representatives and alumni.
Held on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at the Şehit İstihkâm Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall, the event aimed to support the career planning of students studying International Trade and Logistics. The event was attended by senior executives from MSC Group, one of the leading companies in the logistics sector, and graduates of our university.
The programme commenced with opening speeches at 1:30 PM. Following the opening speeches, the event continued with panels featuring the participation of the MSC Group. Ceren Çalışkan, MSC Organisational Development and Training Specialist, gave a detailed presentation on the company's Human Resources processes, while MSC Trade Managers Burcu Özmen and Hasan Can Arslan shared current developments and career opportunities in the logistics sector with the participants.
In the practical section of the event, an interview simulation was conducted by Ezgi Çınardalı, MSC Organisational Development and Training Team Leader. The session aimed to provide students with practical experience regarding recruitment processes. Following the panel and workshop sessions, the event continued with an alumni session, an important part of career meetings. In this section, our graduates answered questions from participating students under the title ‘Question and Answer Session and Networking with Working Graduates’. Our graduates guided the students by sharing their valuable experiences regarding their own job entry processes and professional life.
The Sector Career Day event concluded with networking opportunities and career prospects, enabling students to interact directly with logistics professionals in the foyer area.
