On 12 December 2025, an event held at Toros University's Bahçelievler Campus addressed current approaches, scientific studies and field experiences in the field of child development. The summit, which attracted significant interest from academics, practitioners and students, provided a suitable platform for interdisciplinary knowledge sharing.
Speakers at the summit included Prof. Dr. Neriman Aral from Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Nur Pınar Bayhan, Prof. Dr. Figen Turan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Aytekin, and Dr. Selen Gündüz from Hacettepe University. In their presentations, the speakers shared comprehensive theoretical and practical information on topics such as being a child in the digital world, developmental assessment processes, early literacy, child-centred counselling approaches, and developmental language disorders.
During the sessions held as part of the event, current issues encountered in the field of child development and proposed solutions were discussed, and assessments were made to strengthen the link between scientific knowledge and practice. The summit concluded with sessions where participants' questions were answered.
