Tarsus Üniversitesi’nin temelleri 1992 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulan Tarsus Meslek Yüksekokulu ile atılmıştır. 2001 yılında Tarsus Teknik Eğitim Fakültesi, 2005 yılında Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu kurulmasıyla eğitim faaliyetlerini genişletmiştir.Bugün itibari ile 4 fakülte, 1 enstitü, 1 yüksekokul ve 2 meslek yüksekokulu ile faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.

The Eastern Mediterranean Career Fair (DABKAF’26) Brings Students and the Business World Together

The Eastern Mediterranean Regional Career Fair (DABKAF’26), organized under the coordination of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and in partnership with Tarsus University, brought together numerous employers from the public and private sectors with young people on March 30–31, 2026.

Hosted by Çukurova University, the fair was attended by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Lutfihak Alpkan, İŞKUR Deputy General Manager Mustafa Işık, Çukurova University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamit Emrah Beriş, Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, as well as rectors of partner universities, academics, and many students.

Held at the Çukurova University Congress Center through the collaboration of regional universities, DABKAF’26 welcomed numerous national and international companies along with public institutions. Throughout the two-day event, organized under the theme “The Age of Youth Production,” various activities such as career talks, workshops, and panels were held alongside exhibition stands. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with employer representatives and gain insights into career opportunities.
