Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, Rector of Tarsus University, met with Neva Şen, Nehir Sincer, and Çağan Damar, students at the Mersin Tarsus Borsa İstanbul Elementary School, to mark National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on April 23.
During the visit, which took place at the rector’s office, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen symbolically handed over his office to the students of Class 3-F. Accompanied by Elementary School Principal Ferhan Özdemir, Assistant Principal Ülkü Taş, and 3-F class teacher Serap Ayşe Suluhan, the students who sat in the rector’s chair celebrated National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with all children and shared their dreams for the future.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen expressed his great joy at the children’s visit and wished all children a bright and successful future. At the end of the program, students from Mersin Tarsus Borsa İstanbul Elementary School presented flowers to Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen as a memento of the day.
