The İŞKUR Youth Program, designed to help university students supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to contribute to their professional development, will continue in the new academic year. It is planned that 274 students will benefit from the program, which will be implemented as part of the collaboration between Tarsus University and İŞKUR; the goal is to help students gain work experience and support their transition into the workforce.
The protocol ensuring the continuation of the collaboration between Tarsus University and the Tarsus Service Center of the Mersin Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) was signed by Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen and Kürşat Dal, Director of the İŞKUR Tarsus Service Center. Under the renewed protocol, the program not only provides students with work experience but also includes educational activities that support their career development. In this regard, training sessions to be held as part of the Career Club workshops aim to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in job search processes, preparation for the workforce, and career planning.
