Project Duration: 12 Months
Laryngeal cancer, which occupies an important place among head and neck cancers, is a type of cancer that is particularly common in men and can seriously affect voice quality. While radiotherapy is a commonly preferred treatment method for early-stage laryngeal cancer, the voice disorders that arise afterwards can negatively affect patients' quality of life. In this context, voice therapies emerge as an important rehabilitation tool in the post-radiotherapy period. In this project, changes in voice quality in individuals who have undergone radiotherapy will be evaluated through perceptual, acoustic, and aerodynamic analyses, followed by a multidimensional examination of the effects of the comprehensive voice therapy applied. The data obtained will contribute to the development of scientifically based and individualised intervention approaches for voice rehabilitation after radiotherapy.
