Research Institution: Adana Alparslan Türkeş University of Science and Technology
Project Duration: 24 months
The project aims to convert household agricultural waste into biodegradable and renewable film with minimal pre-treatment. The new “heating + metal plate + weight” method developed using common kitchen waste such as apple, black carrot, orange pulp, and potato peel offers a film production system that can be applied in a home environment. The study aims to develop a sustainable alternative to plastic pollution and to present an environmentally friendly model that allows individuals to utilize their own waste.
