The invention titled “Modular Reactor with Hot Air Circulation for the Calcination and Sintering of Nano/Micro Particles,” developed by a team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Ulusal Erkal, a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Processing Technologies at the School of Technical Sciences and Vocational Studies, Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, Tarsus University, has been granted a patent following an evaluation by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT).
This invention introduces a new reactor designed for the calcination and sintering of nano- and micro-sized particles in the chemical industry. It consists of modular components and enables mixing and homogenization processes using hot air with adjustable flow rates within axial metal tubes.
