The event, supported by the Tarsus University Career and Alumni Office, was organized by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.

Held on 6–7 May 2026, the event brought together public institutions and private sector representatives with students. In his speech, Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen stated: “Through this valuable organization, we are hosting an important gathering that will contribute to the future of our students, the employment capacity of our region, university–industry collaboration, and our country’s vision for a qualified workforce. As Tarsus University, our primary objective is to prepare our students not only for today but also for the world of the future. Thanks to this event, our students will not only have the opportunity to explore job and internship opportunities, but will also gain direct insight from sector representatives into the expectations of the business world, professional competency areas, and career planning processes.”

In his remarks, İŞKUR Tarsus Service Center Director Kürşat Dal emphasized the importance of universities in young people’s career journeys. Stressing the significance of bringing students together with sector representatives during their educational process for effective career planning, Dal stated: “We consider such organizations highly valuable in enabling our young people to establish early contact with the business world during their educational lives, gain professional awareness, and become better prepared for employment processes.”

Following the speeches, protocol members visited the stands established on campus and met with company representatives and students. Throughout the organization, students had the opportunity to engage directly with institutions and companies from various sectors, enabling them to explore internship opportunities and post-graduation employment prospects.
