Tarsus University participated in the “Future Professions Summit” program organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Ankara.

The event, held at the YÖK July 15 National Will Hall, was attended by YÖK Vice President Prof. Dr. Naci Gündoğan, members of the YÖK Executive Board, YÖK Press and Public Relations Advisor Çiğdem Savaşçıoğlu, and representatives from the universities’ Corporate Communications Coordination Offices and Science Communication Offices.

The event, which saw broad participation, featured the sharing of information regarding universities’ roadmaps for future professions, promotional strategies, and initiatives to be carried out under the 2030 Higher Education Vision. Strategies were discussed for more effectively promoting to the public the new academic programs launched in higher education in recent years in fields of the future such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digitalization, and green transformation. In addition, plans were reviewed regarding activities coordinated by the YÖK Office of Science Communication, as well as science communication initiatives and “Science Café” events scheduled for 2026.
