Faculty of Health Sciences students Ayşe Aksoy, Nisa Nur Kartal, Ronayi Sayat and Zeynep Kaba achieved significant success at the YURTLİG Table Tennis Turkey Championship, organized by the General Directorate of Higher Education Loans and Dormitories under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Having qualified for the national finals as provincial and regional champions, the team finished the tournament in fourth place nationally.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen received the students in his office following the championship. During the meeting, the students shared their experiences regarding the tournament, and Rector Özen congratulated them, noting that their achievement was a source of pride for the university. Emphasizing the importance of success in both academic and athletic fields, Özen stated that the university would continue to support the well-rounded development of young people.
