Research Institution: Çukurova University
Project Duration: 24 months
The World Health Organisation recommends leaving at least 24 months between births, and it is known that early pregnancies pose significant risks to maternal and neonatal health. In this context, the hybrid counselling model to be developed will contribute to strengthening maternal health by supporting women in choosing appropriate and informed contraceptive methods. This project is unique in terms of evaluating the effectiveness of hybrid counselling models, which have been the subject of limited research in Turkey. The findings are expected to contribute to improving maternal and public health and to produce outputs consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
